It has been a year since we moved to our new office building on Kaliska Street. The building features not only a modern design and spacious interiors, but also a number of amenities and solutions which we have implemented to make our work easier, and so that the building itself can better coexist with the environment and be more economical.
The office is equipped with a photovoltaic system which supplies it with energy and helps reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions, as well as resulting in lower electricity bills. The building also takes part in an air pollution monitoring programme. It has a smog sensor installed on its facade as part of the Airly European air quality monitoring system, and its readings can be tracked in real time at https://airly.eu/pl. Throughout the day, we use dedicated equipment to monitor the levels of renewable energy production and air pollution.
In addition, the building is equipped with a high-class utility water purification system, which has enabled us to stop using plastic bottles. We have also implemented smart building technologies, which make it more intuitive to use and reduce operating costs. They also help improve safety, both when we are at work and after everyone has left the building. The system is responsible for managing electrical energy usage and monitoring, as well as fire and flooding protection (early warning system, electricity and water monitoring and shut off system).
Our office offers many amenities – we can enjoy our meals outside at a common table on the terrace, which has become an extension of our dining hall. Meals really taste better in good company and under an open sky.
We also pay a lot of attention to workstation ergonomics, offering modern solutions implemented in consultation with physical therapy experts.
