The end of 2019 is very busy for us, as we have just accepted a new challenge. We have been tasked with designing and building the headquarters of Finder Sp. z o.o. in Sady near Poznań. Finder is a leading manufacturer of relays and electrotechnical equipment.
It is a global sales and distribution network with eight offices in Italy and 25 branches across the world. The company’s range of products consists of more than 12,500 items. Industrial relays are Finder’s flagship product, but the company has also been successfully rolling out residential and commercial building automation solutions. Its latest products are dedicated for smart building automation systems. Finder was founded in Italy in 1954, and Finder Polska was established in 2016 as the 23rd branch office of Finder S.p.A.
The scope of work includes creating a full-discipline design and constructing a storage facility with a two-storey social and office area. We will also be responsible for installing all utility systems, hardening the area around the building, installing industrial flooring, finishing work and acquiring an occupancy permit. The 315 m² office building will be a traditional brick structure with a ventilated facade featuring composite panels. The load-bearing structure will feature a mix of reinforced concrete pillars and a steel roof. The external wall cladding will comprise sandwich panels, and the roofing will consist of trapezoidal sheet metal, thermal insulation and PVC foil. The building will have a total area of 1,173 m².
